6 Manage the system
To ensure continuous and efficient operation, you should be familiar with additional features of the system.
Access to the administration functions is restricted to users with administrative privileges.
6.1 Managing user details
CAUTION
You are responsible for the security of user accounts and the maintenance of password
security.
You need a user account on the scan head and on OptosAdvance.
The ability to create a user account is restricted to System Administrators.
6.1.1 How to create user accounts for use on the scan head
Scan head user accounts MUST be created on the scan head.
1. Login to the scan head.

Select To admin.
3.
Select Users.
4.
Select New user.
5. Enter the details for the new user and select if they will be an Administrator or Operator.
6. Return to the admin menu.
Note
User accounts can be made inactive.
6.1.2 How to create user accounts on the image server
User management software
System Administrators can use their Windows login details to access the user management application on
the image server.
OptosAdvance review software
OptosAdvance user accounts MUST be created on the image server.
1. Login to OptosAdvance.
2.
Select Settings.
3.
Select User Management > Accounts.
4.
Select Add.
5. Enter the details for the new user and select the privileges to be assigned to them.
6.
Select Save.
