Standby/Hibernation Functions
z From the shutdown screen
• Standby
In [start] - [Turn Off Computer], click [Stand By]
• Hibernation
In [start] - [Turn Off Computer], press and hold the
Shift
key, then click [Hibernate]
NOTE
z If a disk formatted with B’s CLiP is inserted into the DVD-ROM & CD-R/RW drive
(while the icon is displayed on the notification area), the computer will not enter
standby or hibernation mode. Eject the disk in advance
Setting for Using the Hibernation Mode
At the time of purchase, the computer is set so that hibernation mode can be used.
1 Click [start] - [Control Panel] - [Performance and Maintenance] -
[Power Options].
2 In [Hibernate], add the check mark for [Enable hibernation] and click
[OK].
