4.3.1 Data Organization
The data in the memory expansion unit is organized in 256 banks (1 bank = 1 Kword = 1024
words).
Banks are assigned hexadecimal numbers from 0 to FF and each bank has word addresses
ranging from 0 to 3FF (decimal 0–1023).
To read or write data in the memory expansion unit, the bank number and word address must
be specified.
