with your fingers, open the LCD monitor
and rotate it to an angle that makes it easy
to see.
Taking pictures at a normal angle
Taking pictures at a high angle
Taking pictures at a low angle
Only rotate the LCD monitor after
opening it wide enough, and be careful
not to use excessive force as it may be
damaged.
When holding the edge of the LCD
monitor, there may be some distortion,
however this is not a malfunction.
Moreover, this has no effect on the taken
pictures or playback.
When not using the LCD monitor it is
recommended that you close it with the screen
facing inwards to prevent dirt and scratches.
If auto focus is used when taking pictures
with Live View, you can only take pictures
with face detection (P60) etc. in AF mode if
[LIVE VIEW AF] (P107) is set to contrast
AF [ ].
1 Set the focus mode lever to [AFS].
2 Aim the screen at the point you
want to focus on and then press
the shutter button halfway.
