In auto mode [ ], the self-timer is fixed
to 10 seconds.
We recommend using a tripod when
taking pictures with the self-timer. (When
you use a tripod, make sure the tripod is
stable when the camera is attached to it.)
Depending on the recording conditions,
the recording interval may become more
than 2 seconds when [ ] is selected.
The flash output may not be constant
when [ ] is selected.
Adjusting the White
Balance
This function allows you to reproduce a
white color close to real life in pictures
recorded under sunlight, halogen lighting
etc. in which the white color may appear
reddish or bluish. Select a setting that
matches the recording conditions.
1 Press 4 ().
2 Press 2/1 to select the white
balance and then press [MENU/
SET] to set.
You can also use the front dial or the
rear dial to select items.
You can also press the shutter button
halfway to close the menu.
