The through-panel kit is available as a
separate item, part number LA465058U003.
Through-panel mounting a drive in a cubicle
allows you to use a smaller cubicle because
much of the heat generated by the drive is
dissipated outside the cubicle.
• Cut the panel aperture to the dimensions
given in the drawing at the end of this
chapter.
• Lay the drive on its back.
• Lightly screw the top and bottom brackets
to the drive as shown.
• Fit the two side brackets to complete the
frame and tighten all screws securely.
• Fit the self-adhesive gasket material to the
mating face of the drive to produce an air-
tight seal between the drive and the panel.
• Offer up the drive to the panel and secure.
