6.3.4. CHECKING THE CROSSING OVER OF THE HOOK AND THE BLADE
6.3.4.1.CHECKINGTHEINTERSECTIONOFTHEHOOKANDTHEBLADEOFTHETOOLALONE
1. Ensure that in the closed position the tip of the blade
is in the lower third of the hook.
2. Adjust the crossing if necessary, see 5.6.3. "Func-
tional" setting modes, page 29.
6.3.4.2.CHECKINGTHEINTERSECTIONOFTHEHOOKANDTHEBLADEOFTHETOOLFITTEDWITHAPOLE
1. Ensure that in the closed position the tip of the blade
is diverging from the bottom of the hook.
Adjust the crossing of the hook and blade
if necessary:
1. Turn on the battery.
See the operating instructions for the battery.
2. Open the tool blade.
See 5.4. Blade openings, page 23.
3. Turn the battery off.
See the operating instructions for the battery.
4. Disconnect the tool from the battery.
See 4.8. Disconnecting the tool from the ULIB 150P
and 250 batteries, page 18.
5. Loosen the two screws (1) using a Torx T10 screw-
driver.
6. Remove the two screws (1).
7. Remove the cutting head cover (2).
