Tension release (for machines without subcl. -900/..)
When the presser foot is raisey by means of the knee lever by about 5 mm,
thread tension 4 must be released.

Loosen clamp screw 1 of tension release lever 2.
Raise the presser foot by about 5 mm and adjust the position of tension release
bracket 3 so that thread tension 4 is released.
In this position, tighten clamp screw 1.
