Clearance between rear needle guard and needle (subcl. -911/..)
The needle must contact the rear needle guard lightly when the point of the
advancing looper Is In line with the right side of the needle.

Turn the balance wheel untilthe point of the advancing looper IsInlinewiththe
right side of the needle.
Loosen screw 1 of rear needle guard 2.
Turn
bracket 3 so that the needle guard contacts the needle without deflect
ing it.
In this position, tighten screw 1.
Check this adjustment (see "Correct setting").
