for machines in version H (without 911/..)
The following contains the differing adjustment procedures for version H
machines. Aii other adjustments can be found In the preceding sections of this
Service Manual.
34 Feed lifting motion
Correct With the needle bar at a position 0.8 mm before top dead centre (pin in hole 4),
setting: the slot in feed lifting eccentric 2 must point vertically downwards (see arrow
in Fig. 34.0.2).

Loosen screws 1 (Fig. 34.0.1) of feed lifting eccentric 2.
Turn the balance wheel to bring the needle bar to a position 0.8 mm before top
dead centre.
Insert the pin in hole 4 of the bearing plate (to block the machine).
Turn feed lifting eccentric 2 so that its slot faces downwards (see arrow in
Fig. 34.0.2).
in this position, tighten the accessible screw 1.
Remove pin from the hole in the bearing plate.
Also tighten the second screw 1.
Check this adjustment (see "Correct setting").
