2.6 Adjust the position of the needle bar frame so that the needle Is centered In
the needle hole In crosswise direction and that In sewing direction there Is a
distance of 32 mm between the front edge of the needle plate and the center
line of the needle.
2.7 In this position, tighten screw 3 Just lightly and screw 4 securely.
2.8 Using
screw 1, pull the guide stud behind it against the eye of needle bar frame 2.
Then tighten screw 1.
2.9 Loosen screw 3 again, turn the balance wheel a few turns to make sure no twist
has occurred in the needle bar frame, then tighten screw 3 again.
2.10 Tighten
both screws 5, making sure that slotted guide 6 is parallel to the needle
bar.
2.11 Check this adjustment (see "Correct setting").
