15.Disconnect the following electrical components:
a
ETC
g
Transmission Switch
s
TMAP
h
Speed Sensor
d
Engine Temperature
Sensor
Diff Relay (if equipped)
f
CPS
16.Remove the three fasteners
j
retaining the harness
by the transmission switch and two fasteners
k
retaining the taillight harness wires to the frame.
17.Remove the three harness clamps
l
on the intake
manifold. Move the main harness out of the way
towards the seat.
18.Disconnect the two fuel rail mounting bolts and move
the fuel rail off to the driver’s side.
NOTE
Be careful not to pinch or kink the fuel rail.
19.Remove the four fasteners
1 (
retaining the intake
manifold to the engine and the one
2)
retaining the
bottom of the intake manifold to the transmission
bracket.
20.Remove the PVT outer cover.
21.Remove the belt and driven clutch.
