24.Install the fastener retaining the front stabilizer bar
link to the upper control arm. Torque fastener to
specification.
TORQUE
Stabilizer Link Fasteners:
42 ft-lbs (57 Nm)
IMPORTANT
Upon A-arm installation, test vehicle at low speeds
before putting into service.
FRONT STABILIZER BAR REMOVAL
1. Remove screws

and plastic rivets

retaining the
front bumper. Remove the bumper from the vehicle.
2. Remove the upper and main floor boards. See Main
Floorboard page 10.24 and Upper Floorboard page
10.24.
3. Remove the winch mount

4. Remove the steering post. See Lower Steering Shaft
Removal (EPS) page 8.9
5. Remove the tie rod ends from the bearing carrier.
6. Remove the steering rack from the vehicle.
7. Remove the fasteners retaining the stabilizer bar
mount to the frame.
8. Remove the fasteners

retaining the front stabilizer
bar link to the front stabilizer.
9. Remove the stabilizer bar out the side of the vehicle.
10.Remove the fasteners

retaining the stabilizer bar
link to the A-arm.
