3. Install the upper and lower control arm-to-bearing
carrier long bolts

. Install washers and new flange
nuts to secure bearing carrier to control arms. Torque
flange nuts to specification.
NOTE
Use new nuts upon installation of the rear bearing
carrier.
TORQUE
Control Arm-To-Bearing Carrier Fasteners:
42 ft-lbs (57 Nm)
4. Apply anti-seize to drive shaft splines. Install rear
wheel hub assembly

, cone washers

, and hand
tighten the castle nut

5. Install the rear brake caliper assembly and new bolts
t
. Torque to specification.
TORQUE
Rear Caliper Mounting Bolts:
40 ft-lbs (54 Nm)
6. Torque wheel hub nut to specification and install a
new cotter pin
y
. Tighten nut slightly if necessary to
align cotter pin holes.
TORQUE
Hub Castle Nut:
110 ft-lbs (149Nm)
7. Install wheel and four wheel nuts. Torque wheel nuts
to specification.
TORQUE
Wheel Nuts:
30 ft-lbs + 90° (41 Nm)
