Configuring Security Options
Configuring Admin ID and Password for Polycom Touch Control device
It is possible to set an Admin ID and password, which limits access to the
Polycom Touch Control Administration settings.
1. From the Home screen touch Administration.
2. Touch the Security tab.
3. Set the following security settings:

It is possible to transfer the Polycom Touch Control logs to an external USB
storage device.
Time Server Specifies connection to a time server for
automatic Touch Control time settings. The
date and time must be manually reset every
time the Touch Control restarts, in the following
cases:
• Time Server is set to Off
• Time Server is set to Manual or Auto, but
the Touch Control cannot connect to a time
server successfully.
Time Server Address
Specifies the address of the time server to use
when Time Server is set to Manual.
Time Format
Specifies your format preference for the time
display and lets you enter your local time.

Setting Description
Admin ID Specifies the ID for the administrator account.
The default Admin ID is “admin”.
Admin Password
Specifies the password for administrator
access when logging in to the Polycom Touch
Control. When this password is set, you must
enter it to configure the Polycom Touch Control
Admin Settings. The password must not
contain spaces. The default password is “456”.
