1.4 Lifting Carriage
The positioning device plus Perspex tank can be
placed on the lifting carriage (
Figure 6). An electro-
mechanical scissors-type lifting carriage allows the
height to be easily adjusted by means of the two
pushbuttons on its front panel. The platform is lifted
exactly parallel. The lifting carriage has no hydraulic
parts. Therefore, the adjusted height is maintained
indefinitely.
As an alternative to the motor-driven lifting carriage,
a carriage with a fixed height can be used.
