3.5 Connecting the MP3 System
to a PC
Via the RS232 interface of the TBA CONTROL
UNIT, the MP3 system is connected to a PC (refer
to section
3.4 and your PC manual).
3.6 Mounting Detectors to the
Moving Mechanism
CAUTION
Inaccurate orientation of the measuring detector.
Erroneous Measurement!
Observe the effective point of measurement of
the detector specified in its user manual.
NOTE
If you use the TRUFIX system to mount the de-
tectors, please act in accordance with the user
manual of the TRUFIX system.
3.6.1 Mounting Chambers T31010, T31013,
T31014 or the Light Probe T9311
CAUTION
Improper handling.
Equipment damage!
The light probe is not watertight. Therefore, do
not use it under water.
CAUTION
Measurement with adjusting cube.
Erroneous Measurement!
Please ensure that the adjusting cube is re-
moved before any measurement.
• Attach holder T4316/U141 to the C-slider, using
two M4x10 screws (see
Figure 14).
• Introduce the chamber or the light probe into the
holder such that the end of the stem on the
hose-side is flush with the rear edge of the
holder, and secure chamber or light probe with
the clamping screw.
For convenient adjustment of the reference points
of the chambers on the central beam and at the
water surface, you can use adjusting cubes.
