1.5 Water Reservoir
The water reservoir consists of a water tank and a
pump. The pump is made of stainless steel. Sole-
noid valves allow the pumping direction to be re-
versed to fill and empty the Perspex tank, as re-
quired. When the MP3 system is not in use, the
Perspex tank must be drained and the water
pumped into the water reservoir (see section
3.3.2).
The plastic hose between water reservoir and Per-
spex tank can be removed even if the tank is filled
with water.
CAUTION
Improper handling.
Equipment damage!
If you are pumping water, you must not remove
the plastic hose between water reservoir and
Perspex tank.
The electric pump can be controlled from a PC
when the water reservoir is connected to the MP3
junction box (see section
3.2 and 3.9).
