      If you cannot use the mouse with your Q-See DVR, wait 5 minutes after connecting the mouse and then try again. The mouse may not be securely connected, so plug/unplug it several times. The mouse might also be incompatible with the system, so please try another mouse.

The DVR may also not be getting enough power from the outlet or surge protector. There could also be a problem with the system board on the DVR.

      If you cannot record with your Q-See DVR, the HDD might not be formatted. Please format it manually. The record function may not be enabled or set up correctly, please refer to Section 4.3 Record Configuration. The HDD might be full, and the recycle function is not enabled; refer to Section 4.3 Record Configuration and the Recycle Record Tab in the Record Menu. Finally, the HDD could be damaged and need replacement.

      If your Q-See DVR is not displaying images on some or all channels, it could be due to connection problems. Ensure that the cables and ports of the camera and DVR are properly connected. Another reason could be a camera problem. Check the cameras by attaching them directly to a TV or a working port on the DVR. Finally, the video format (NTSC/PAL) of the DVR might be different from that of the cameras; if so, change the DVR video format.
