2.4 MEAS DISPLAY
The 1730T instrument’s stand-by display is the MEAS DISPLAY. After power has been applied
to the instrument and it cycles quickly through the information screen, the instrument reverts to
the MEAS DISPLAY. To view the instrument information screen as illustrated in Figure 2.1,
press [SYSTEM SETUP] then [⇐].

Figure 2.2 illustrates the three pages of parameters that can be programmed within the MEAS
DISPLAY. The binning and comparison functions are enabled/disabled in MEAS DISPLAY
and programmed in MAIN INDEX. The bias voltage function is enabled/disabled in MEAS
DISPLAY and programmed in SYSTEM SETUP. Paragraphs 2.4.1 through 2.4.10 explain each
parameter in detail.
