3.1 IEEE-488 Interface
3.1.1 Pin Configuration
The 1730T instrument comes standard with an IEEE-488 interface as illustrated in Figure 3-1.
Connection is through the blue 24-pin connector labeled ‘IEEE-488 INTERFACE’ on the rear
panel of the 1730T instrument. This interface can be used to connect a system containing a
number of instruments and a controller in which each meets IEEE Standard 488.2 (Standard
Digital Interface for Programmable Instrumentation).
