9 Environment and disposal
All components of the NeuroSmart, including its packaging, are selected, designed and labelled so that
a high degree of environmental friendliness is guaranteed. The cardboard packing is 100 % recyclable.
All parts of the NeuroSmart are labelled and can be separated for recycling or environmentally friendly
disposal by specialised companies. The Li-ion type battery and the electronic components comply with
the RoHS 2 (2011/65/EU) directive. However, they should never be disposed of in residual waste. Prod-
ucts which are defective or no longer used can be sent back to the manufacturer for disposal.
10 Liability and warranty
The customer or user, respectively, shall be obligated to check the suitability for the intended purpose
of application by suitable performance tests in particular. RAUMEDIC shall not assume any explicit or
implicit warranty, guarantee or liability for the suitability for any purpose which exceeds the description
of the article in these operating instructions. This shall also apply for the further processing of this article
and for its use for the manufacture of other products. The RAUMEDIC conditions of warranty apply
exclusively.
