WARNING
Danger of head injuries due to protruding flap stopper when inspection
lid is opened!
Please watch out for the protruding flap blade stopper while working inside the
inlet isolation device. If necessary, equip the stopper with a bumper during the
maintenance process. The bumper must be removed prior to closing the
inspection lid.

g) Lift the flap blade as high as the locking unit allows or until the locking lever is in
contact with the locking unit's latch pin. Inspect to see if the flap blade is still
detected by the closed-position sensor.
If the flap blade is no longer detected by the flap sensor, the
sensor is adjusted correctly.
If the flap blade is still detected by the flap sensor, carefully
unscrew the closed-position sensor from the threaded sleeve until
the flap blade is no longer detected.
h) Release the flap blade and verify that the flap blade is detected by the closed-
position sensor.
If the flap blade is not detected, repeat the above-mentioned
steps and adjust the closed-position sensor.
i) Tighten the closed-position sensor's counter nut

Perform another
inspection of the closed-position
sensor (see Section 9.12 inspect
the closed-position sensor).

inspection (if installed)
a) Ensure that the system is disconnected.
b) Ensure, through a supervisory person, that the system is not able to be restarted
while inspecting
c)
Open the inspection lid(see Section 9.4 Inspection lid opening and closing).

d) Clean the sensor, removing any material build-up

Place process material or other suitable item onto the level sensor on the
inside of the inlet isolation valve. See level sensor location below:
