3.4.2 REPLACING THE TRANSFER ROLLER (PART OF THE
FUSING MAINTENANCE KIT)
1. Open the transfer roller cover [A] as shown in the illustration (note the direction
of the arrow).
2. While holding both ends of the roller (by the green gears on each end), lift and
remove the roller [B].
NOTE: 1) Do not touch the surface of the roller. Oils from the skin stuck on the
roller surface may result in roller failure.
2) If you install all parts in the fusing maintenance kit at the same time,
be sure to clear the PM counter (Fusing Unit).
