Clean the encoder seat only when:
• Grease or ink drops on encoder strip.
• Vertical stripes appear in the printed image.
Clean the Encoder Sheet after applying the grease to the Guide Rod.
IMPORTANT! The slit part is fragile. Wipe it gently so as not to break or deform the slit part.
If it is difficult to remove ink or grease, wipe in the direction of the arrow below. The wiping
direction must be parallel to the slit.
