7. Using the Printer in 4-color mode
(CMYK Only)
When using the printer in Four (4) color mode, it allows you only to use CMYK and keep the white in
storage mode.
4-color mode has two states: 4-color only (White Auto Cleaning: ON) and 4-color only (White Auto
Cleaning: OFF). The former is recommended for use when you plan to print with white ink again. The
latter is recommended for use when the printer is in storage.
To change from 6-color mode to 4-color mode, perform the following operations.
*See "Ink Path Guide" on page 200 for "Printable Fabrics" and "Supplementary Notes" for each mode.
Changing the printer to 4-color mode from 6-color mode
Remove white Ink cartridges.
Insert the cleaning cartridges designated for W1 and W2 channels.
Press the Settings tab.
