5. Replacing Service Parts
5.1. Service parts
This printer has some replaceable service parts and sumps that are monitored for service life.
• Each icon provides the status of each service part.
The color of each component icon Description
Green
Green is normal.
Yellow
Yellow is near the end.
Red
Red is the end of average service life.
NOTE - This is a suggested service life end based on averages. Printing and maintenance
operation will not be interrupted when the service life end is reached for all components
except for the left and right sumps. These sumps must be drained or replaced when the
service life end is reached. Contact technical support. The components such as the
maintenance unit cannot be replaced under warranty when the service life is reached
(typically this is several thousand prints depending on use).
