3. Maintenance
Your printer performs automatic maintenance routines based on time and use. Because of this, your
machine is almost always ready to print when you need it. However, it is also a best practice to perform a
nozzle check prior to printing. Also, regardless of whether the printer is in use or not, printing a nozzle
check every day to check the condition of the printer will enable you to detect and address problems early.
Below is a list of maintenance procedures and frequency.

White ink circulation

【4-color only (White Auto
Cleaning: ON) 】
Every 3-72 hours
White channel cleaning
【6-Color】
In this mode, white head cleaning consumes ink in the white
cartridge.
【4-color only (White Auto Cleaning: ON) 】
In this mode, white head cleaning consumes cleaning fluid in the
cleaning cartridge.
When changing from 【6-Color】 to this mode for continuous use, the
two cleaning cartridges need to be replaced approximately 8 months
after the mode change.

Jig head maintenance for the white ink station
Regular maintenance (cleaning the maintenance unit and the
flushing box) for the white ink station
