3. Maintenance
Your printer performs automatic maintenance routines based on time and use. Because of this, your
machine is almost always ready to print when you need it. However, it is also a best practice to perform a
nozzle check prior to printing. Also, regardless of whether the printer is in use or not, printing a nozzle
check every day to check the condition of the printer will enable you to detect and address problems early.
Below is a list of maintenance procedures and frequency.

6-Color
Every 1 hour
White ink circulation
6-Color
Every 3 hours
4-color only (White Auto
Cleaning: ON)
Every 3-72 hours
White channel cleaning
6-Color
In this mode, white head cleaning consumes ink in the white
cartridge.
4-color only (White Auto Cleaning: ON)
In this mode, white head cleaning consumes cleaning fluid in the
cleaning cartridge.
When changing from 6-Color to this mode for continuous use, the
two cleaning cartridges need to be replaced approximately 8 months
after the mode change.
Every 12 hours All channel cleaning
Alarm agitating white cartridge
Every day Print a nozzle check
Every 3 days
Jig head maintenance for the white ink station
Regular maintenance (cleaning the maintenance unit and the
flushing box) for the white ink station
Every 10 days
Jig head maintenance for the color ink station
Regular maintenance (cleaning the maintenance unit and the
flushing box) for the color ink station
Monthly
Regular maintenance (cleaning the guide rod)
