The following describes the case where the attaching jig for the head protection cover is used.If you
do not want to use the attaching jig for the head protection cover , select [NO] and proceed to step

Detach the platen and platen frame from platen base.
Attach the attaching jig for the head protection cover to the platen base.
Insert the hooked on the back of the attaching jig into the hole on the platen base.
Securely insert it all the way in.
Make sure the attachment jig is not floating.
