A test pattern is printed.

If there is no dot drop-out or dot displacement, press to go back to the original
screen. If there is dot drop-out or dot displacement, proceed to step
3. .
3. Perform normal cleaning


Normal cleaning starts.
When it nishes, the screen shown on the left appears again.

Press to go back to the original screen.

Perform a printing test again as per step 2. , and make sure that there is no longer any
dot drop-out or dot displacement.
If the problem persists, try performing cleaning a second time. If you continue using a printer for a long
time, the problem may not be xed even after performing cleaning a couple of times. If the problem
doesn't go away, then try cleaning using a dierent method.
