NOTE
A NAMUR isolating amplifier must be used for intrinsic safety.
The 2130 Series Liquid Level Switch (hereinafter Level Switch), manufactured by
Mobrey Limited, has been certified by the National Supervision and Inspection Center
for Explosion Protection and Safety of Instrumentation (NEPSI).
Level Switch accords with the GB12476.1-2000 standard. Level Switch has protection
type of DIP A21 T
A
T3~T6 IP6X.
The user should take note of the following special conditions for safe use:
1. The relationship between ambient temperature range, temperature class, and
maximum temperature of process medium is as follows:
2. The earth connection facility in the enclosure should be connected reliably.
3. Obey the warning “Keep tight when the circuit is alive”.
4. Cable entry, certified by NEPSI in accordance with GB 3836.8-2000 with Degree of
Protection IP6X (GB4208) should be applied when installing in a hazardous
location.
5. Maintenance should be done in a non-hazardous location.
6. End users are not permitted to change any components inside.
7. During installation, use, and maintenance of the Level Switch, the following
standards are to be observed:

“Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmosphere Part 13: Repair and overhaul
for apparatus used in explosive gas atmosphere”.
GB3836.15-2000
“Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmosphere Part 15: Electrical
installations in hazardous area (other than mines)”.
GB3836.16-2006
“Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmosphere Part 16: Inspection and
maintenance of electrical installation (other than mines)”.
GB50257-1996
“Code for construction and acceptance of electric device for explosive
atmospheres and fire hazard electrical equipment installation engineering”.
