SWITCH OVERVIEW The Rosemount 2130 Extreme Temperature Vibrating Fork Level Switch is
designed for use in extreme temperatures. Based on vibrating short fork
technology, the 2130 is suitable for virtually all liquid applications.
Features include:
Virtually unaffected by flow, bubbles, turbulence, foam, vibration, solids
content, coating, properties of the liquid, and product variations
Operation in extreme temperatures of –94 to 500 °F (–70 to 260°C)
No need for calibration and requires minimum installation procedures
Easy terminal access, polarity insensitive, and short-circuit protection
No moving parts or crevices means virtually no maintenance
Electronic self-checking and condition monitoring. The heartbeat LED
gives status and instrument health information
Adjustable Switching Delay for turbulent or splashing applications
Magnetic test point for easy functional test
Short fork length with extensions up to 118 in. (3 m)
“Fast Drip” fork design gives quick response time
General area, Explosion-proof/Flameproof, and Intrinsically Safe
options
This combination of features makes the 2130 an ideal choice for a wide
variety of challenging applications in the chemical, power generation, and oil
and gas industries.
