∙ What to inspect: Compressor's operation electric current
∙ Error code: None (“NG” is only indicated in the result report)
∙ How to determine error: Compare the compressor's operation electric current and the reference electric current.
∙ Perform inspection according to the steps shown below.
■ Precautions
- To replace a component or inspect the PBA, be sure to cut off the power supply first.
If inspection must be performed with the power supply on, exercise extra care to prevent electric shock.
Are the specifications
of the power supplied to the outdoor unit
and the cable connection
normal?
Is the compressor's
operation electric current (CT1, CT2) value 0
when the compressor is
not active?
Is the compressor's
phase-to-phase (U-V, V-W, W-U) resistance
lower than 2Ω?
Install an ammeter, and then
perform Trial Operation (cooling/heating)
- See the instructions on Key operation modes.
Is the value
indicated by the ammeter
identical with the compressor's operation
electric current (CT1, CT2)
value?
Is the operation cycle
normal?
Is the
compressor's operation electric current
(CT1, CT2) value normal?
Perform Auto Trial Operation again.
Take corrective measures.
Replace the compressor.
Perform Trial Operation (cooling/heating)

Replace the inverter PBA.
Replace the compressor.
