To add a TripSaverII recloser, click on the Add TripSaverII button on the top right
of the page. A dialog box will appear. Enter the recloser’s Transceiver ID and the desired
device name. See Figure 38 and Figure 39. The Transceiver ID must contain a total of
32 hexadecimal digits, separated by three periods. After the process is completed, the
user will be returned to the top of the TripSaverII Device Management panel when the
Add button is clicked. For full instructions on pairing a TripSaverII recloser with the
communications gateway, see the “Commissioning (Pairing) a TripSaverII Recloser for
Use with a Communications Gateway” section on page 78.
Note: The TripSaverII Device Name eld is optional and may be left blank.

The top TripSaverII Device Management screen will display on a single line the
added recloser and any other TripSaverII reclosers that have their radios associated with
this communications gateway. In addition to the serial number and TripSaverII recloser
name, the recloser’s Transceiver ID, link status, and RSSI are displayed.
A TripSaverII recloser may be changed or removed by clicking on the Edit or Remove
button. Clicking on the Identify button will cause the TripSaverII recloser to update
its LCD screen to all blue, then all white, and repeat. This can help to identify a specific
TripSaverII recloser.
