Safety Precautions
2.11 Working on the Device
Not all areas of the device or Palletank
®
for Mixing can always be surveyed
in full, the visibility of certain areas may be restricted, i.e. if the device is
inserted or removed at the Palletank
®
for Mixing.
If the unit is operated while there are people in the device’s operating area:
People may find themselves in the danger zone between the device and the
Palletank
®
for Mixing and are at risk of injury.
t When carrying out any work on the device, ensure beforehand that there
are no people between the device and Palletank
®
for Mixing.
t Precisely define responsibilities and working areas on the device.
t Wear personal protective equipment.
2.12 Order of the Required Steps
Conducting work on the device in the incorrect order may result in
unforeseen hazards. There is a risk of injury to personnel.
t When working on the device, e.g. to insert the device on the Palletank
®
for Mixing or for filling the mixing bag, follow the order of the work steps
described in these instructions.
2.13 Moving the Device
When moving the device, there is a risk of injury, e.g. hitting someone with
the device.
t When moving the device ensure that no personnel or objects are in the
way.
t Wear personal protective equipment.
2.14 Removing the Device from the Palletank
®
for Mixing
If the device has been removed from the Palletank
®
for Mixing and comes
into contact with people or people reach into the danger zone between the
device and Palletank
®
for Mixing: There is a risk of people becoming injured,
e.g. feet or hands being crushed.
t When removing the device from the Palletank
®
for Mixing, ensure that
there are no people in the operating area of the device or Palletank
®
for
Mixing.
t Do not reach into the area between the device and the Palletank
®
for
Mixing while the device is being removed from the Palletank
®
for Mixing.
t Slowly remove the device from the guide rails of the Palletank
®
for
Mixing. The device must be removed from the Palletank
®
for Mixing in a
controlled manner.
t Wear personal protective equipment.
