2 Safety Precautions
2.1 Intended Use
The Flexsafe
®
Pro Mixer Drive Unit is used for controlling the impeller in a
Flexsafe
®
Pro Mixer Bag (mixing bag). The mixing bag must be inserted into
a Palletank
®
for Mixing.
The device must be coupled with the Palletank
®
for Mixing and the impeller
in the mixing bag. During coupling, the device’s motor surrounds the
impeller in the mixing bag and drives it using magnetic force. This allows the
liquids and | or solids in the mixing bag to be mixed, i.e. for processing
materials.
The Palletank
®
for Mixing and the mixing bag must be approved for
operation with the device (see Chapter “15.4 Suitability of Palletank
®
for
Mixing and Mixing Bags”, page 58).
