10.3  Faults when Operating the Device

The device will not turn on. The emergency shut-off 
switch is engaged.
Disengage the emergency shut-off 
switch. To do so, pull out the 
emergency shut-off switch until the 
green ring on the emergency shut-
off switch is visible.
The program menu or the

The necessary authorizations 
have not been assigned to 
the personal user profile.
Check the authorizations of the user 
profile.

10.4  Leaked Liquids
Fault Cause Correction Chapter,

The device has come into 
contact with liquid because 
large amounts of liquids 
have leaked out of the 
Palletank
®
 for Mixing.
The mixing bag is damaged 
and has fully or partially 
emptied. The liquid may 
have penetrated into the 
device via the fan.
Contact Sartorius Service.
10.5  Checking the Position of the Mixing Bag and Impeller
Procedure
 t Decouple the device from the impeller and Palletank
®
 for Mixing (see Chapter “8.12.1”, Page 45).
 t Check that the bag and the impeller are correctly installed in the Palletank
®
 for Mixing (see instructions for the 
Palletank
®
 for Mixing).
 t If required: Adjust the position of the mixing bag.
 t Insert the device under the Palletank
®
 for Mixing and couple with the mixing bag’s impeller (see Chapter “8.5”, 
Page 40 and Chapter “8.6”, Page 42).
 t If the warning message reoccurs: Contact Sartorius Service.
10.6  Checking the Coupling with the Mixing Bag and Impeller
Procedure
 t Stop the mixing process.
 t Decouple the device from the impeller and Palletank
®
 for Mixing (see Chapter Chapter “8.12.1”, Page 45).
 t Wipe the Palletank
®
 recognition sensor on the device with a damp cloth.
 t Insert the device under the Palletank
®
 for Mixing and couple with the mixing bag’s impeller (see see Chapter 
“10.5”, Page 52 and Chapter “8.6”, Page 42).
