9 Cleaning and Maintenance
9.1 Cleaning Device Surfaces
Requirements
The device is removed from the Palletank
®
for Mixing (see Chapter “8.12
Ending the Mixing Process”, page 45).
Procedure
t
CAUTION Risk of injury due to uncontrolled rolling away of the
device! Place it on a level surface and secure the brakes. Wear personal
protective equipment.
t Turn the device off.
t Disconnect the power supply cable from the power supply at the
installation site.
t If the device is connected to an external control system or other system:
Remove the connection cable and close the connection with the closing
cap.
t NOTICE Corrosion or damage to the device due to unsuitable cleaning
agents!
t Do not use corrosive, chloride-containing, and aggressive cleaning
agents.
t Do not use cleaning agents that contain abrasive ingredients, e.g.
scouring agents, steel wool.
t Do not use solvent-based cleaning agents.
t Only use suitable cleaning agents (materials see Chapter “15.8
Materials”, page 59) and observe the product information for the
cleaning agent used.
t WARNING Risk of injury due to hot surfaces! Allow the motor to cool
down.
t Wipe the housing with a slightly damp cloth. Use a mild soapy solution or
a suitable cleaning agent for more severe contamination.
9.2 Maintenance Schedule

brated by Sartorius Service.
9.3 Restarting the System
Procedure
t Commission the device (see Chapter “6 Getting Started”, page 30).
