System Settings
Procedure
t Open the main menu.
t Open the “Settings” sub-menu.
t Open the “Password” menu option.
t Select the “Login” parameter and set to “ON”.
t Select the parameters “User” and “Administrator” one after the other and
assign a password.
t Confirm the entry with the [OK] soft key.
t Save the changes made with the [SAVE] soft key.
y Password protection is enabled.
7.4.3 Logging Into or Out of the Device
When password protection is activated, operators must log into and out of
the device. Login is performed directly after switching on. Logging out is not
possible during an active operating mode.
Procedure
t To log in the operator: switch on the device.
y A password request is displayed.
t Enter the user or administrator password and confirm.
t To log out the operator: briefly press the On | Off button.
y The user profile is logged out.
7.4.4 Deactivating Password Protection
Requirements
The administrator profile is logged in.
Procedure
t Open the main menu.
t Open the “Settings” sub-menu.
t Open the “Password” menu option.
y A password request appears.
t Enter the administrator password.
t Select the parameter “Password” and set to “OFF”.
t Save the changes made with the [SAVE] soft key.
y Password protection is deactivated.
