9.4 Performance Check
It is recommended that the device performance be reviewed regularly. This
should be done after every in-house maintenance procedure or at least
every three months.
We also recommend that the operator develop a regular test routine that
takes the following criteria into account:
Accuracy requirements of the relevant application
Frequency of use
Number of operators for the device
Nature of the liquid dispensed
Acceptable maximum permissible errors (ISO 8655-2)
The performance review should be carried out in the corresponding
ambient conditions (see Chapter14.2, page53). The device, filter tips
and test liquid should be stored in the room for at least two hours so that
they can adjust to the room temperature.
Sartorius specifications are achieved in strictly controlled conditions
(ISO8655-6). We recommend defining an acceptable error range that
reaches the application area and the accuracy conditions under which the
device is operated.
