Installing the Scanner Utilities Software (Optional)
Your SelfScore scanner can be operated as a
standalone test scoring machine. However, if you like,
you can also attach it to a computer with ScanTools
software to capture and manage the scanned data.
Use the following instructions only if you wish to
connect your scanner to a computer.
IMPORTANT: Before connecting your scanner to the
computer, install the drivers and utilities
software as described below.
1. Insert the scanner utilities CD into the CD-ROM
drive of your computer.
2. Browse to your CD-ROM drive.
3. Double-click the setup.exe file to run the setup
program.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the
drivers and scanner utilities appropriate for your
computer.
5. Click Finish when setup is complete.
