Scantron Score Emulation Mode
Scantron Score mode allows you to use your scanner
to perform the following Scantron Score functions.
Test Scoring
• Score multiple choice, true/false, and matching
tests
• Print a red error mark to indicate a wrong answer
• Print correct answer (alphabetic or numeric) next
to incorrect answer (optional)
• Print the total number of correct answers
• Print the percentage correct (optional)
• The Student ID feature allows you to associate
results with a specific student when used with
Remark software
• Scantron Score emulation mode works with most
of the same forms used with Scantron Score and
888P+ scanners. Visit www.ScantronStore.com for
a list of compatible forms.
• Scantron Score emulation mode can be used with
optional Remark Classic OMR software to provide
a variety of informative reports
Item Analysis
• Print the number of tests processed
• Print the number or percent of students answering
each question incorrectly
• Print an average score
Subjective Score Box
• Allows an instructor to combine a score for a
performance-based activity (i.e. essay, oral exam,
lab assignment) with a score from an objective test
(i.e. multiple-choice, true/false, matching)
• Total subjective points possible = 163
