5.3.3 Activating the maintenance mode
While inserted in the docking station, the device can be switched to maintenance mode.
To do so, simultaneously press the buttons and . The message "MAINTE-
NANCE IN PROGRESS" is displayed.
While in maintenance mode, the device can be removed from the docking station for
service purposes. In this case, the server recognises that the device was not removed
for defibrillation purposes and does not generate any alarms.
After the device has been returned to the docking station, maintenance mode must
be switched off by again simultaneously pressing both buttons.
