7.9 Maintain option modules
7.9.1 Clean electric feed-through module
CAUTION
Damage to pins and spring contacts possible!
Only use non-abrasive materials to clean the pin block, e.g. a
nylon brush or a vacuum suction unit.
Ø Place the SWA in the storage rack, secure and uncouple it.
Ø Remove the compressed air hose.
Ø Switch off the power supply and ensure that there is no residual
energy in the system.
Ø Disassemble the SWK from the robot and safely set the SWK
aside, Removing the product from the robot arm [

Ø Check pin block for deposits and blackened spring contacts.

Ø Remove deposits with a vacuum suction unit and clean pin
block with a nylon brush.
Ø After cleaning, check pin block for damage and wedged spring
contacts.
