4.2 Description
The product is an electrical 2-Finger Parallel-Gripper. It has an
integrated control unit supporting the Interfaces: Ethernet TCP/IP,
RS232, CAN-Bus, PROFIBUS DP, PROFINET (optional), Modbus/TCP
(optional). Previous figure shows the components and connectors
of the product. The configuration of the product is done via a
Web-Interface supporting almost every common web browser.
Furthermore, the product comes standard with a sensor port in
the base jaws. Here gripper fingers can be connected with
integrated sensors, which are evaluated directly from the gripper
control. SCHUNK provide standardized finger as accessories, which
work directly with the gripper control. For more information,
