2.8 Attaching the recorder to the patient
2.8.1 Positions of the electrodes
Thoracic wall resting and stress ECG, standard according to Wilson
4th intercostal space at the right sternal border
4th intercostal space at the left sternal border
On the left on the 5th rib between C2 and C4
5th intercostal space on the left midclavicular line
On the left on the anterior axillary line, on the level of C4
On the left on the midaxillary, on the level of C4
Stress ECG (lying or sitting position): extremities
On the right below the collarbone
On the left below the collarbone
On the left above the hip
On the right above the hip
Stress ECG (sitting position): extremities
Attach to the deltoid muscle on the right
Attach to the deltoid muscle on the left
