connected via a VCR, pictures may be distorted.

Connecting to a TV with a video input jack
You can enjoy DVD images by connecting your TV and the DVD player with a video
cable.
Caution:
Before connecting the TV, turn off all the equipment.
Three types of jacks [VIDEO OUT (VIDEO), VIDEO OUT (S-VIDEO) and COMPO-
NENT VIDEO OUT] are available for TV and DVD player connection.
Connect according to your TV.

Note:
When using an outdoor AM antenna, be sure to keep the wire of the AM loop
antenna connected.
Outdoor
FM

AM
antenna:
Use an outdoor FM or AM antenna if you require better reception. Consult your
dealer.
Notes:
• Placing the antenna on the system or near the AC power cord may cause noise
pickup. Place the antenna away from the system for better reception.
• When static is still heard even after adjusting the position of the AM loop antenna,
try reversing the wire connections.

Connect the AM loop antenna wire to the AM
and GND terminals. Position the AM loop anten-
na for optimum reception. Place the AM loop an-
tenna on a shelf, etc., or attach it to a stand or a
wall with screws (not supplied).
