To select and play the desired title and chapter:

You can play back from the desired point by specifying the time.
• To specify 1 hour 23 minutes and 40 seconds, enter

Still picture/Frame advance _
You can freeze the image and advance frame by frame.
Notes:
• Direct play feature is disabled on some discs.
• Some discs may not display the chapter number.
• With DVDs, you can specify the desired point only
in
the current title and not
in
another title.
• With audio CDs, you can specify the desired point only
in
the current track and not
in
the disc.
• Some discs cannot play from the specified point.
• Time search feature is disabled on some discs.
• You cannot specify the time while the disc
is
stopped.

Slow-motion play _
You can slow down the playback speed.
Note:
Still and frame advance features are disabled on some discs.

Three speeds are available. Each time the button is pressed, the speed of slow-
motion playback changes
in
the following sequence:
x 1/16 (about 1/16 times)

The same operation can be performed by holding down the

button on the
DVD player for 2 seconds or more.
3 Press the DVD/CD

button to return to the normal playback.

On some discs, the slow-motion playback functions are disabled.
