13.4 Interface Adapter
The interface adapter (order no. 1023359) is used as service accessory to connect a
DME5000 (except DME5000-XX5) to a laptop with serial RS-232 interface.
The following is included in the interface adapter scope of delivery:
 Interface adapter
 Plug-in mains adapter 24 V
 Connection cable laptop – interface adapter (9-pin Sub D)
 Connection cable DME5000 – interface adapter
 Software SOPAS Engineering Tool
The following functions are available:
 Up-/download of parameters
 Editing parameters
 Cloning entire parameterizations
 Reading measured values
 Graphical measured values display/data logger
