he safety laser scanner must be arranged and configured in such a manner that
it can detect objects entering into the hazardous area.

The optical path of the safety laser scanner must be kept clear at all times and
must also not be obscured by transparent objects such as protective screens, plex‐
iglass, lenses, etc. The protective function of the safety laser scanner can only be
guaranteed if the contamination measurement function is not circumvented by
such measures.

The S3000 Cold Store has been specially designed for cold stores. It can be used within
an ambient temperature range of –30 °C to +50 °C.
The device fulfills the requirements of enclosure rating IP67 according to EN 60529
and is equipped with an internal, thermostat-controlled heater. This heater switches
itself on when required. The safety laser scanner is operational once the required tem‐
perature inside the housing is reached. The heater automatically switches itself on dur‐
ing operation when required (cyclical heating).
